Tips to Help You Search for the best Domain Name

Great Domain Names: These are usually very short (three or four letter domains) or one word and two word domain names that do not contain a hyphen. When you say them together the words together mean something. These domain names do not contain an i or an e in front of them. Example: domain.com or domainname.com would be considered great domain names, as opposed to idomain.com, or domainsweater.com (completely unrelated words) or domain-name.com.

Good Domain Names: If you put a hyphen in between two keywords you will have a good domain name. Again, the keywords for your domain name said together should make sense in the order you register in. Example: domain-name.com as opposed to name-domain.com.

Poor Domain Names: Most people suggest you only look for a .com domain name but registering the .net, or .org version of your keyword domain is a great idea. It's better to have domain.net than mysecondchoicedomain.com just to have a .com

You want a domain name that search engines will pick up on easily, which in turn will give you a chance at a better search rank.
